Moving in to Geraldton

Tue, 06 Sep 2011 11:01:21 +0800
It gives us great pleasure to announce that Northwest Aviation Services has just been successful in winning a major ground handling contract at Geraldton Airport (GET) to service QantasLink’s new Q400 aircraft.
QantasLink is commencing Q400 services to Geraldton on the week commencing 21st November 2011, starting up operations with 12 flights per week.
Northwest Aviation Services has won this work not only by bidding a competitive price against a number of other Airport Ground Handling Companies but also by the strength of our sixteen year track record of delivering premium, quality customer service to QantasLink and other customer airlines in regional WA airports. Northwest Aviation Services' performance and suitability for the Geraldton contract was also measured by positive Customer and Flight Crew feedback.
Our success in winning this contract is very much a Team effort and reflects the genuine care & fantastic drive that everyone in Northwest Aviation Services gives, day in day out.
This latest expansion is exciting news for Northwest Aviation Services on the back of the acquisition of Karratha & CHC Helicopters, along with Paraburdoo being the fastest growing airport in Australia, the start of Qantas B737-800 flying to Newman and increased Qantas B737-800 flying to Port Hedland. This also marks a change for Northwest Aviation Services, who have so far operated exclusively from the Pilbara, to now being a multi-regional service provider in the Pilbara & Mid West.
